Identity document
A valid passport or national ID card. NFC-enabled documents (look for the contactless symbol) are preferred.

A compatible phone
- iPhone: iPhone 7 or later, iOS 14+.
- Android: Android 7+ (NFC recommended).
- Not sure if your phone has NFC? Check common NFC-enabled phones here.

Sessions are short-lived. If the QR/link expires, generate a new one.

NFC not working?
- Hold the document against the phone and don’t move during the read.
- Try the upper back of the phone (antenna location varies by model).
- Remove thick cases or metal covers.
Frequently asked questions
How does ReadID Ready work?
The app uses your phone’s camera to read the MRZ (the code on your document) and your phone’s NFC to read the secure chip. It verifies authenticity and, if required, completes a face check to confirm the holder.
Why do I need to do this?
The CoreAAI Platform uses ReadID Ready to verify customers securely and remotely, complying with KYC/AML and security policies.
I don’t have a QR code.
Desktop: Generate a session to display a QR code on this page.
Mobile: Generate a session to get an activation button instead of a QR.
